Disclosure Statement

This website, Seashells and Sunflowers, is a personal blog written and edited by me, Katie Metz de Martínez. For questions about this blog, please contact me here.

I don't accept any form of cash advertising or paid topic insertions except in the sidebars and areas where it is clearly marked or evident. Some of the links in the posts are Amazon affiliate links. [See below.]

None of the content in the posts on this blog has been placed there because payment exchanged hands. There are no sponsored posts on this site.

Ad Networks

I use Google AdSense, a third-party ad system, which is keyword-based and reacts automatically to the content presented on the blog. I have no say over the ads that appear. If you find an AdSense ad offensive, click on the "Ad Choices" link adjacent to the ads (not on the ads themselves), and you can lodge a complaint directly with Google.

I don't accept monetary compensation from individual advertisers for their products to appear in my blog posts. I do provide, on occasion, affiliate links to Amazon within posts for books, Argentine foods and other products I believe to be of interest to my readers. I receive a small commission on purchases made through Amazon when you purchase through these links.

Additional Amazon affiliate links exist because I frequently receive inquiries about the availability of Argentine products, and Amazon and its partners stock a wide range of books, gourmet foods, etc. that are readily available, often internationally. I personally shop through Amazon, and I find the site to be user-friendly and reliable.

Featured Products and Services

Trust and a sense of community among my readers mean the utmost to me, and I strive to only recommend products, restaurants, and travel experiences with my readers' interests in mind. I will only endorse products or services that I believe are worthy of such endorsement and not because I've received cash in exchange for the endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

Comment Policy

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. It's my intention to share my experiences in a humorous, lighthearted manner—not to offend—but rather to highlight cultural differences, entertain, and inform. While I welcome diverse opinions and comments on the blog, I do not allow personal attacks in the comments. I reserve the right to delete any comment I deem inappropriate.

Any links to commercial sites in the comments, unless related to the post, will be edited or deleted as well.
