There seems to be a lot of things the adventurous can do there in Necochea! Renting a bike, taking a 4x4 excursion and maybe sailing sound like things I would like doing - and then taking pictures of people doing the rest! :D

It all sounds very exciting. However, I think I'll work on my tan and leave  adventure to the youngsters haha!

I’m all about fun and adventure, but sky diving?  No way Jose!
My crazy wife would love nothing more than to do a bit of bungee
jumping.  I prefer to keep my feet on
solid ground.

I'd really like to go on a 4x4 excursion to Médano Blanco [photo] one of these days. It's an enormous sand dune located just south of Necochea, and once there, you can go sandboarding (like snowboarding but on sand). I've seen photos from there, and it looks so remote and desert-like!

I'm always trying to take photos of people kiteboarding, surfing, etc., but it's difficult because I don't have a telephoto lens for my camera. I'm always too far from the action. :(

Tanning is definitely a valid option. ;)

I'm too much of a chicken for skydiving! I do think parasailing and paragliding look cool though. I occasionally see people zoom past in motorized parasails (imagine a lawn chair with a sail and a fan on the back) while on the beach here, and I admit that it seems like fun!

Any in particular?

I didn't know there were so many options of extreme sports in Necochea...my favorite activity? Just sunbathing like a lizard, only to be interrupted by a round of mates and facturas ;D

You and Ana (commenter above) could work on your tans together. ;)

Hi, Norma! I'll be featuring you here on the blog soon, so keep your eyes peeled. :)

Wow. Tanning is even extreme for me and my pastiness. I'll stick to reading in the shade.

I hear you! I can't even set foot on the beach without massive amounts of sunscreen and an umbrella as back up.

What's on your mind?
